“LGBTQI+ Voice Up: Project Greece” aimed to empower the voice of the LGBTQI+ community and raise awareness of the challenges it faces, highlighting the role and contribution of the European Parliament as a strong ally in this effort. “LGBTQI+ Voice Up: Project Greece” was implemented by Homo Evolution with the co-funding of the European Union and the support of the European Parliament for the period 2021-2022 (the phrases “Homo Evolution”, “European Union” and “European Parliament” preceding are links that will lead you to the respective pages). The project enhanced the dissemination of the activities of Members of the European Parliament on LGBTQ+ issues, in line with the design for a more democratic future of the European Human Rights Society. By highlighting the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ people living in Greece today and subsequently informing civil society, active citizenship is strengthened in practice and conditions are created that promote dialogue and respect.
