Athens-Real is a campaign to highlight Athens as Europe’s upcoming gay city. Celebrating a city that is both authentic and progressive, it brings together the many experiences that make up Athens’ thriving gay scene. Up for fun, welcoming and ready to host you now. It also provides a platform for members of the LGBT community to describe in their words why Athens is the next big thing in gay city break travel.

Athens Real is powered by Marketing Greece, a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2013 to effectively promote Greece’s diverse array of destinations and experiences. Its key shareholder is the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), with co-shareholders the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH) and the Hellenic Association of Communication Agencies (EDEE/HACA).
